Obama: GOP should let small business bill through

. . .

Acknowledging that the economy still remains extremely fragile, the president said he'd also have other specific ideas in the days ahead.

He mentioned extending Bush tax cuts due to expire this year for households making under $250,000 a year, upping the nation's investment in clean energy, rebuilding more roads and highways and tax cuts designed to keep jobs in the United States.

. . .

White House spokesman Robert Gibbs later said that in addition to initiatives already unveiled that are bogged down in Congress, the administration would roll out a variety of targeted measures designed to spur the economy and create an environment conducive to hiring.

None of the measures will be as major as last year's stimulus bill, Gibbs said. "There's only so much that can be done," he added.

1. "And we have already done for the Banksters and Wall Street you ungrateful wretches"..
Gibbs added.

Gibbs then went on to suggest that anyone dissatisfied with the state of the economy was a fucking retarded professional leftist who should be drug tested.

Yes, it's :sarcasm:..

5. In a separate statement
The White House warned the rabble that a 9% unemployment rate would henceforth constitute "full employment" according to "leading economists" and "top men." Internecine war immediately broke out between folks critical of such bare-faced bullshit and those who declared that the administration should be supported no matter what, lest the Tea Baggers "win."

2. such bullshit. they want us to think "the economy" was dropped down from heaven by god,
& is immune to human influence.

they're purposefully keeping it where it is to drive out medium & small players for the benefit of the big boys & finance.

4. Why isn't this attitude embarrassing? Why isn't Gibbs ashamed to say that?
Does the White House really, truly believe it's doing all that can be done? That this nation is doing all that can be done to get us out of this recession? Really? REALLY?

Well then, fuck 'em.

The "middle-class" portion.

(I agree with that, at least for the next year or two.)

12. jeez, I didn't realize how poverty level I've been living.
but I am paying my taxes and slicing off pounds of flesh. I wouldn't want those folks making $250K a year to feel bad or anything. I mean, that's like $5000.00 a week, a gauddammmmmm week. How does one ever survive on that?

Fuck, no wonder I feel like a worn out shoe with a bunch of holes in its' soul.
