His plans suck and are counterproductive. To call them worthless is to overvalue them. "Education reform" as practiced in this country has nothing to do with either education or reform.

7. They will help the corporations controlled by Arne's buddies.

Good teachers will be out of the classroom, and the "standards-based" excuse to privatize public education budgets will continue the downward spiral of student learning and preparation. These are bad ideas in every way imaginable.
