Just curious, but how did KOS get my DU username AND email addy?

I received an email from him yesterday and I was addressed by Frustratedlady. Just wondering how he also got my email addy to go with it.

2. If you really want to find out...

Always give out your e-mail address with a tag, so that you know what duffus betrayed you.

if your e-mail address is [e-mail]

give out your address as [e-mail]

Your email will still be delivered to [e-mail], but it will have the tag +name-the-traitor attached.

so, if you register your e-mail address as [e-mail] at one and only one location, you will know who the traitor was.

4. Not sure how this works, but in our profile, there is an option

that says "send an email message". I wonder if I clicked that if you would get an email, even though I don't know your address. Want me to try this out?

So I don't know what module is needed, or how that happens. Seems a question to be asked though, since there is that option of just sending an email. Not a personal message, which I have done before. Sorry I couldn't help.

with a uid # of 146207 - no diaries or comments. Are you sure you never signed up at Kos and just forgot you had?
