So now, we have Republicans threatening massive *investigations* of President Obama and Republican advisers like Morris suggesting that we have government shutdowns to look forward to should they win?

Well, I guess I'm glad to know that people- if they're paying attention to stuff like this- will be making a completely informed choice about who they want running Congress and what they want them to do. I don't remember government shutdowns working quite so well for the Republicans when Clinton was in office but I guess Morris somehow thinks that people are going to respond differently this time?

The Republicans are the very definition of both insanity and hypocrisy to the nth degree. I really hope that people are paying attention to statements like this. The Republicans are not even *telegraphing* but they're stating quite LOUDLY and CLEARLY that they don't intend to get ANY work done for anybody come next January (and for the next two years) if they wind up running Congress.

I'm getting so tired of all of these "Blame Obama First (and for everything the right wing does)" comments made by some people. The idea that Obama has brought all of this right wing insanity and lunacy on himself (and the rest of the country too) by supposedly "appeasing" conservatives (I don't know for the life of me where THIS is coming from) and failing to investigate/prosecute Bush/Cheney- is ludicrous on its face.
