4. I like the sepia toned version of the eagle seal on the carpet.

The couches also look more comfy than the old leather couches you see in Nixon/Carter era photographs.

I like the coffee table - hate the flag painting. The flags look sad. Interesting how they continue the wallpaper and wainscoting over the door to create a secret passage effect. Although, the door handle is a dead give-away.

5. The flag painting is from the WW1 era. I forget the artist, but it comes from a simpler age

It was from the American expressionist period. It's fairly famous painting among the art cognescenti

The wooden apples look very real. I like the flag painting but do not like the color of the sofas. I like the rug but don't think it is a practical color if you have a dog. Could someone explain the one blue pillow? I am not much into interior decorating.
