My grandson was born today.

His dad is shipping out to Iraq in about 10-15 days (he has 10 days off starting today). His unit is already in Iraq.

Pic below is from the hospital today.

I am feeling a lot of mixed emotions tonight. But no matter what I am feeling I am sure it does not even compare to what he and his wife are feeling.

I will just say this to my son - yeah it is a song I put on youtube, but it says it so much better than I could. The pics in it have a lot of meaning to him and I.
