Beck's rally had no content other than some very vague, amorphous mush about religion and to ANNOUNCE himself with "Hello America!"
And he said in his speech that his rally proved that ONE MAN can change the world, namely himself.
But despite Palin speaking, the rally was not political. He was not announcing his candidacy for president. No.
Rather:
GLENN BECK IS THE MESSIAH.
He talked about how AT THE SAME TIME that Moses was at the burning bush 5,000 years ago the Pilgrims and native Americans were turning to God on this land.
Actually, Moses lived 3,300 years ago, not 5,000, the Pilgrims came here about 3,000 years later and native Americans came to North America 25,000 years ago. And native Americans were certainly not seeking the same god, being polytheists. Beck also declared in his speech that he was using the rally to honor our troops because, he said, respect for the military SCORES 15% HIGHER IN POLLS, that's what he actually said, than respect for other heroes. So he's a man of truth and vision who, um, follows polls. Beck also said in his FOX interview after the rally that the last line of his speech he cut from the speech and it said that "in forty days and forty nights" there was going to be a great change in America. Oops, too political for my first presidential campaign rally! And actually, the November election was 66 days away, not 40.
But pay no attention to any of that. Beck is not actually running for anything. I deny that, he says!
Rather:
GLENN BECK IS THE MESSIAH.
Glenn Beck is also the GREAT CO-OPTER.
He's the new Martin Luther King, the new Moses, the new Pilgrim, the new native American, the new televangelist and, now that he has dissed our first black president, he's the new president.
But don't call him the GREAT CO-OPTER. The rally was APOLITICAL surely!
So it's settled:
GLENN BECK IS THE MESSIAH.
So what if the crowd was a bit sparse, so what if some of the crowd were tourists, so what if the crowd was broad in part because of the huge reflecting pool in the middle where nobody was standing. Forget that.
Glenn Beck's followers filled UP that space because Glenn Beck's followers and all of the Tea Party can WALK ON WATER and
GLENN BECK IS THE MESSIAH.
Be sure to vote for Beck in 2012 along with Palin for veep, listen to his call for throwing out the Democrats in 2010 and make sure you BOW BEFORE HIM because he - HAS - a chalk board, amen to THAT, and millions are ready to GENUFLECT before him right this minute ANYWAY!
Your new savior, Glenn Beck, the messiah.
Vote Republican now, ya hear, y'all?
