President Obama has my vote and support for 2012
He did what he said he was going to do, stop Military action in Iraq. I know we have some presence still in Iraq but I believe he kept his promise for the most part. I haven't supported most of his policies but he did the number one thing that I cared about and that was end the Iraq war. For that he has earned my support and my vote for 2012.

Thank you Mr. President!

1. And President Nixon ended the war in Vietnam
But that wouldn't have been enough to have made me support him unconditionally in a future election.

4. I may disagree with Obama
but I will vote for him in 2012. There is no one who can do any better in either parties. I'm just upset how the Dems including the different factions will find all the negatives and not promote his positives.

I am getting bored with all the negatives.

2. good for you
he delivered on your "line in the sand" issue. i think it's commendable to support him if he's done what you expected him to do.

5. He'll have my support, as well. Most of his critics could never do what he has...
under the pressure and criticism Obama has worked or any other condition. They are Monday morning quarterbacks.

6. That was my Big Thing, too.
I'm willing to give him more time to make good on cleaning up the rest of the mess we are in.

9. He inherited a mess in Iraq, so I can't blame him for that...but his education scam, SS scam,
healthcare scam, and quivering at anything and everything Fox News says tells me we need someone else in 2012 or we're gonna get slaughtered.

10. Are any Democrats going to challenge him in the primaries?
I haven't really heard any serious talk of Democrats taking on Obama in the 2012 primaries.

Personally, I'd love to see a true progressive in the White House, but we could do a hell of a lot worse than Obama. He might not be the ideal President, but he's done a lot of good things also. And he's definitely better than anybody the repukes will throw at him.

15. Nope. He's not going to have a Democratic challenger and everyone knows it.
But pretending otherwise makes great troll material for those who never voted for him and pretend like they did.

11. He kept his promise for the ALL part, not 'most'
He promised to remove all combat brigades and temporarily leave a small contingent behind. He did exactly as he promised he would do in Iraq.

In his speech he also promised to have the remaining forces removed by the end of 2011 (if I remember the date correctly).

12. our military is still there
what do you think that billion dollar base was for? He won't get my vote and I hope a viable candidate runs against him. I will never again vote for centrists even if they give progressive speeches.

14. It's a phased withdraw - as *promised* and as requested by the Iraqi government and Iraqi forces
"He won't get my vote"

Stop pretending like he ever had your vote or ever will, or even could.
