My step son scored another insurance boiler room job.

Agency makes 25% of the policy /month. Individual agents who make the sale get 10%.

He's moved back home (because of the meltdown) and this is his 5th boiler room job in 7 months.

He comes home at night exited about the score he's made, if he's snookered some cold call recipients into policies with add-ons (preexisting condition coverage).

I am sick for our nation. I am sick at the lack of real and honest opportunities for our kids (and all of us).

I'm broke. I've just closed my business. Insurance costs is going to kill us ... and my stepson is fired-up tonite because he's suckered a couple of families into expensive policies, with add-ons for the sick kids.

Its the system available to him, and he's been surrounded by corrupt capitalism for his entire life. Plus, no doubt, he's desperate to cut a living too.
