3. With the several days warning that have been available, combined
with the residents in the coastal regions who decide to 'hunker down and wait it out', how long before those 'hunkerers/waiters' start calling for emergency assistance.

4. Hunkering and waiting in areas without old, damaged levies isn't usually
too poor of an idea. Unless you live right on the water, you can usually wait these things out with the right supplies.

We New Englanders in particular are quite hardy in a hurricane.
