Political agitators (LaRouchies) stir up controversy outside Scappoose (OR) Post Office

Amidst a tiny throng of people, and over the din of honking car horns, supporters of political activist, perpetual United States presidential candidate and convicted felon Lyndon LaRouche collect signatures to impeach President Barack Obama.

The signature gatherers, who would not divulge their names (right, with a supporter at left) because “the media lies,” created quite a stir by prominently displaying several posters of President Obama sporting a Hitler-style mustache. “Americans don’t do this,” said Scappoose resident David Fisher, pointing to the posters featuring the offending image. “It’s too polarizing.”

But another passerby named Pam, who refused to give out her last name, said she supported the signature gatherers and their allusion to the fascist leader of World War II Germany. “This needs to be done because I can just see communism coming,” she said.
