Economic Uncertainty?
You've probably heard a lot about "economic uncertainty."

This is the reason advanced by economic conservatives to explain why the economy supposedly remains sluggish. The excuse offered claims the economic policies of the president and democrat leadership in congress are responsible.

What I want to know is:

If economic uncertainty is actually causing economic slow-down why don't the the republicans own the lion's share of the blame?

By continually obstructing recovery efforts, and just about everything for that matter, they create a climate of uncertainty.

Will it pass or won't it?

Should I plan for tax structure X or shouldn't I?

Do I need to consider a new health care plan for my employees or what?

Maybe I'm just being naive here but, wouldn't a little unity behind the policies of the popularly elected president go far in dispelling uncertainty?

I would also think a little unity behind the president would stop his policies from drifting towards the absurdities of, "is it a government plan or a corporate sell-out?" i.e. HCR.

Inquiring unicorns want to know.
