Can anyone translate this?

Can anyone tell me what this says? I think it's Sanskrit but not 100% sure. I just saw
Om Mani Padme Hum written in Sanskrit and the writing looked like this.

This is a long shot I realize, but I thought I'd try. :-)

Everyone told me I should have studied Sanskrit in high school but NNOOOOOO, I had to go for Cuneiform!

I just Googled Sak Yant and what I'm seeing is that is a type of sacred tattoo done by Buddhist monks.

29. I believe it has it's origins in Sanskrit, yes. Not sure of the translation for that rock

or for that stone, however.

Some of the characters look identical to those that read "Om Mani Padme Hum"

I think maybe they're identical, so I think you've got it.

The tattoo looks like it's above a tattoo of a prayer wheel, appropriately.

...the scrpit didn't seem like Devanagari to me at first, because the horizontal line running through it didn't stand out the way it normally does to me, but taking a second look, most of those letters do have a flat top that's level with most of the other letters, even the letters aren't mutually linked to make the line more continuous.

...but that won't make me remember. :) I remember having to redo the text in Photoshop after scaling the original down to a more manageable sig size, then tweaking to color just for the hell of it.

It might have been from an article (one in a series) on anosognosia, on the NYT web site.
