Well, whose fault will it be?
If per chance, the Repubs win the House, who will we blame? Will we blame the left? What if the "professional left" votes in higher numbers than anyone else in the Party?

But so we don't have to think such unpleasant thoughts, lets assume that the President fires up his base and totally discourages and infuriates the Tea Party, and the Democrats hold on to the House by a comfortable margin.

There are those that will say it is only a "speech". That is very true but words have ways to move people. They create emotions. These emotions create actions. It is very possible that the Democrats can surprise the media and the Republicans on election day. Populism, of the people, is not necessarily a bad thing, if it leads to a positive end. The President gave a very positive speech today. If he builds on it, perhaps we may save the House?

We'll have to take a look at the data and make a judgement from that. Voter turnout, exit polls, election returns all the way down to the precinct level.

I get why this happened.

It's really simple, once one task was done, the Administration had no choice but to tackle the next mess left behind by the left behinders...

But now the future is at stake, our future as a country and so it is time for the president and all democrats get behind a single message, as the GOP does so very well, and hammer home a vision of hope to combat the vision of fear the GOP is fostering...
