I've come up with a business plan idea I thought I might run by you guys
I'm not sure if it's just the microbes that eat oil or some other magic but if reports are to be believed, (and why shouldn't they?), the Gulf of Mexico is once again pristine. No more oil, no more oil cleanup needed. It's like a magic ocean. One of the seven wonders and all that.

But I digress. My business idea is to have a used motor oil collection service and take it down to the magic ocean and dump it in. Presto, no oil. Now, I'll grant you that this would be a better business idea if I still lived in Texas but hey, maybe all oceans are magical in this way. Hell, maybe I could just dump it in the Puget Sound. Get me some of them microbes and presto.

So what do you think? I know it's just a quick pitch and I would need a business plan, yadda, yadda, but it just seems like such a winner to me!

2. Would have to ask someone in Lousiana or Texas with a boat.

Personally I still don't have beer and travel money I should have, and that is within my observation.

And that gets me pretty skeptical about the Internet or TV being real.

I keep hearing about this beer and travel money that hasn't been forthcoming. Could you elaborate?

16. Yea, I am due compensation for a smear done years ago.
Edited on Tue Sep-07-10 01:47 AM by RandomThoughts
My social and economic life was removed because I would not be mean to someone. Thats when it started. A group of vigilantes did not like some guy, he may have done something really bad or so they said, I said if he was bad he would be in jail, the guy was a cripple and sad with no money and just wanted a soft drink, and people wanted me to not talk to him and be mean.

Although I think the guy may have been a bad person, I should not have to be mean to someone because someone else says it, and then when they start playing amateur private cop. I laughed at them and that pissed them off so they smeared me, so I been after that group ever since. And taken quiet a few lumps myself in the process.

They threatened to smear me if I did not fear them, or act like they were important, they weren't so I again laughed at them. Then after that they made up the same stuff about me as him, and started spreading it around.

Been in the fight since then, that is when it was easy to see that anarchy, 'watch your neighbor' fear and a few other things were creating many problems. There were other things that always kept me aware of bad things, but until then, I never really had such a clear target as to what was causing so many problems.

Shrug, figure they still owe me, but really no person is around that actually owes the debt owed, so it is a joke while not a joke at the same time. It is a bit of a paradox, but I have found ways to theoretically collect on such a debt.

Although there are many that could correct the issue. In a way having the issue lets me do other things while doing nothing. Since to do anything while still due would be accepting that injustice.

So when not working on other goals, I keep in mind that I am still due for that injustice while not doing anything to collect it for myself. Although someone will pay what is due, even though it is more then can be rationalized from any person.

There are other factors involved also, but only so much a person can do about that.

Note by saying he would be in jail if he did wrong, I am speaking about jail by court with best use of law and judgment by society, not some isolation by an anarchist group by corrupt free will choices. Hence why the situation got me looking at forms of justice and how they get applied in society, and how few actually think on ideas like rights, and the reasons for justice in society.

Side note, the guy that said I should be mean to the crippled guy, was a landlord and the cripple guy rented a house from him, and the rumor was the landlord literally burned the house down that he rented to him, while he lived in it for an insurance money claim. Although I was not mean to him either because that was a rumor also.

It's that magic Caribbean elixir. The government told us it works. Would they lie? Nah, too important.

7. Thanky
Do you think it's a magical property limited to the Gulf of Mexico? The reason I ask is that I know that King County is going to crawl up my butt about the idea of dumping it in Puget Sound but if all it takes is some microbes and a pretty good PR staff, then I think this could port fairly easily.

9. Puget Sound might be a gamble
But how about Alaska, you know, where that Exxon Valez rolled over. There's lots of residual magic left in those
waters, no doubt.

On the other hand, you could promote local business but suggesting to King County that they dump a bunch of Cortexit 9500.

Here's a hot lead. The federal government is soliciting solutions for oil in the gulf. Get one of those grants;)

Submit a Solution (no pun intended)

Once again, brilliant idea. We may not lead in industry anymore but we take a backseat to no one in satire:evilgrin:

11. Only works if it's crude oil, not motor oil.
Motor oil has been refined into something a little closer to plastic. Crude oil has been seeping naturally into the Gulf for hundreds of thousands of years, at about the rate of the BP spill every year, so the Gulf has developed an ecology that deals with it. Also, crude oil contains a lot of water, so a lot of it evaporates, whereas motor oil has had the water content processed out during the refinement process. If you Google, you'll find a lot of scientific evidence on crude evaporation rates, natural crude seepage, and microbial colonies that feed on crude.

15. Well known motor oil disinfo campaign
:sarcasm:
There's a lot of bogus information out there about motor oil, probably put there by Travelon's enemies.

But consider this. It's just a matter of adding more Coritext 9500 to handle the motor oil. If we keep
the additional chemicals within the 200 mile exclusive economic zone, it will be a true America first
project.
