A solution to the Koran burners. Have the fire department on hand.
When the fire starts, put it out. Put it out as carelessly as possible. Just enough water for the fire. As much as possible for the twits with the matches. Make complete laughtingstocks of them.

Then publically invite in the local Inman to take charge of the damaged books and properly destroy them with all due ceremony and respect.

1. Appealing idea. But, there's an unfortunate association to that image:

4. Not that I don't like the idea . . .
just saying that we don't want to feed the Right's tendency to expropriate the iconic images of great causes of the past . . . like that piehole tried to do at the Lincoln Memorial a couple weeks ago.

Otherwise, hand me that hose and turn the valve all the way open. :7

My initials are on the back of that guys jacket.

Although I don't make deals, and believe in civil rights causes.

Not like that type of comment hasn't been tried before, there are some that actually believe in fighting over things that have no meaning. I would say that is the second worst trick of evil, getting people to fight for things that don't matter.

Then after they do that, they are shown they fought for little to create despair, so I think people should think and feel on what is important. And also know that many fight for things that are wrong for the right reasons. In those cases the people that give them bad information are to blame. Really interesting topic where two sides of a war can be equally correct and equally wrong.

Although Civil rights is pretty obvious. And thinking back on my life, I always was pretty fair on those issues, and didn't fall for the lies of racism some others were tricked into.

5. War is an inherent evil in which there are no true good guys.
Tragically, a lot of people end up simply siding with those closest to them. And from there, it becomes an "enemy of my enemy is my friend" sort of moral minefield. Best to not go there, if you have any choice not to. Of course, there's always a choice, and as Sartre said, we're doomed to have to make them.

A little Moral Philosophy with breakfast . . .

9. I am not doomed, Starky has a saying, stuff is getting better every day.
Although if things want to doom themselves trying to doom me, that is, as you say, their choice.

A quote from the Postman.

Luke: The General is a great man!
Postman: The General is a fucking lunatic!

7. Here's an idea
Gather a squad of people with super soakers, like this:

Then, blast them when they light up ANYTHING. Hey, it's your First Amendment right.

8. Alternate solution: Purchase 1,000 e-Korans, download them
and with the congregation watching, delete all 1,0000 e-copies.

I put this farcical scenario forward to point out that the value of the medium is close to nil. It is the actual texts themselves that matter to the followers. Technology has rendered the practice of book burning an obsolete. It no longer serves to deprive the faithful of their opportunity to read the Holy Book.

I hope that most Muslims will see the preacher for what he is, a self-serving idiot.
