Right Network Launches: Conservative Entertainment Channel Debuts
Well isn't this just wonderful. Where are our wealthy Dems so we can have one too. Never mind. It could never happen.

Actor Kelsey Grammer is an investor and public face supporting a new network that launched Wednesday with entertainment designed to appeal to political conservatives.

RightNetwork, whose first series, "Running," follows the fortunes of a couple of Tea Party-backed candidates for public office, is also trying a new model to establish itself. It is initially making programming available through video-on-demand services, the Internet and through mobile phones, bypassing the route of traditional TV networks with a spot on channel lineups.

1. I'm never watching Frasier again.
And, we can only hope that the Tea-Idiots come out looking like a bunch of, well, idiots.

12. If I watch Frazier it's because David Hyde Pierce and Brian Mahoney are good people
Not for that idiot Kelsey Grammer.

2. "Running" WTF? is that about Republicon Chickenhawks?
Edited on Wed Sep-08-10 01:10 PM by SpiralHawk
How appropriate...running from the truth, running from reality, running from civic responsibilities, running to "NO NO NO NO NO NO", running from core American values, running from positive solutions...etc. etc. etc.

3. Prediction: A swift and quiet demise
Following in the well-worn path of the Fox Half Hour Comedy Hour, the Republican listening tour, and the "outrage" over the politicization of 9/11.

4. what, no Palin Family sitcom
..It sure will be a comedy and it seems anything the repubs do adds further to their embarrassment. Sadly, their base is no ill informed, brainwashed and then unconditionally loving that they can do no wrong.

5. Yea, I wonder if THIS is the channel Sara's reality show is going to air on?
The only thing I've heard about it so fr is that she got a couple of mill $$ to do a reality show about Alaska and t's airing this fall some time. I hope this is whre they put her. At least there's no possibility that I will accidentally see it while channel surfing.

7. Uh, I don't see them to humor; conservatives are
humor-impaired. They're also not very creative, but they like to see people suffer and their greedy, so I see them going with Rambo-like series, maybe making heroes of white militia groups; and reality shows with people viciously competing for a cash prize.
