Since the Bush tax cuts were passed under rules of reconilliation... We can now do the same.. the House can pass a bill to renew all the Bush tax cuts, except for those making 250k as a couple and 200k as an individual for 10 years.. then pass it through the senate with only 51 votes.. of course I am assuming we would be able to come up with the majorities of democrats to do that.. and to be honest I have my doubts..

1. Obama keeps talking about the Clinton tax years.

I wouldn't be surprised if he gets back to them after we get out of the recession as this is what Orszag recommended.
