NPRFirst of all it's going to be a multiyear effort. Obviously it's going to be difficult to get Obamacare repealed as long as President Obama would have the ability to veto any repeal legislation. It's important remember that in 1988 the Senate overwhelming passed the Medicare Catastrophic Coverage Act and then repealed it one year later because Americans, especially American seniors, saw the costs that program had and saw that the benefits were underwhelming based on what they were promised. And so in 1989 we had a repeal effort of a major piece of health care legislation that passed with I believe 77 senators voting in favor of it, so there is a precedent for repealing these types of bills.
