Slew of good polling news over past few days
Am I the only one who has noticed a lot of positive movement in the dems favor in recent polling?

You got Joe Miller in Alaska making the race much closer.
Christine O"Donnell in Delaware trying as hard as she can to give the race to Coons.
Joe Conway now running neck and neck with Rand Paul.
A big poll dump by the DCCC showing a bunch of incumbents doing better than many expected.
Alex Sink breaking away in Florida.
Bill White holding strong against Rick Perry.
Multiple polls showing Murray up by about 5 points over Rossi.
Boxer maintaining leads against Fiorina.
The congressional ballot returning to being tied from a GOP 10 point lead.
Obamas improving approval ratings.

There are even more individual house races that I am not going to list that are showing the dem doing much better than expected. I cant look at all this as anything other than good news. Obama has started this campaign season off right with his strong speeches and this polling data is just an added bonus.

All of us need to realize this election depends entirely on whether or not we get enthusiastic and start volunteering big time. We can change the outcome of this election. Everyone needs to stay positive and the recent developments should help keep up your spirits.

4. I've noticed a slight softening of the bullshit about the gop landslide
that has been promoted since Nov 2008. Now it's about how they might take the house.

6. also Hispanics and African Americans
I think in places like California, Whitman and Florina's anti-immigration rhetoric has already cemented their defeat. California has a big GOTV operation going on and if they focus a little on areas with high Hispanic population, we can sail to victory. Its all about spreading the message, letting people know what these candidates want to do and how it will effect them is key.

8. The Asian community, also.
They're beginning to come into their own as a voting bloc.

7. Depends what you mean by "past few days"

Washington Post, WSJ and now DemCorps polls have us down in the generic ballot by 6-10%. While Gallup counts, it's not the only pollster in that respect:http://www.democracycorps.com/wp-content/files/dcor090210fq8.pdf

I would say there's been good and bad news in the poll lately. Boxer being up is refreshing.
