4. It's About "Superiority"...

Religion is a mask for the image this country has developed over the decades of being "exceptional"...a "superpower" and with it all its culture is superior to all others. Those that sound or look funny are somehow inferior...benign savages at best, scary, evil "terrorists" at the worst. It's been a game used to "unite" many...the latest boogie man used by those who crave power and prey on fear and hate as their base. A century ago it was Irish and/or Catholics and then Blacks...in the last century it was the evil Russians and Nazis and now its Hispanics and "A-rabs".

What we're seeing is the ugly death throes of the white christian "majority" as this nation and the rest of the world passes it by.

they do not observe the Jewish dietary laws or other rituals, but they like the laws about killing people for blasphemy, etc...But again, their interpretation is just self serving and - face it, stupid. There is several thousand years of Jewish theoligical interpretation of their religious law written down and available for anyone who wants to read it, but they just flip though the bible pages and take whatever strikes their eye and think everyone else is wrong.
