election, when he has a lame duck Congress and it will be easier to get her confirmed. One could hope.

Reid could just hold off the confirmation until after November.

Warren is HUGELY popular. Why would he hold off if he really intended to nominate her?

6. Agree, but

maybe that's a wise decision -- what with all news all the time about the Florida idiot right now, and, of course, 9/11 commemorations. I'd think they'd want a less distracted TV audience. Unless there's another bright-shiny thing to distract us or (god forbid) a tragedy over the weekend -- maybe the announcement will be on Monday.
