The quickest way I can think of to get us out of this rut would be to require that all schools must include quite a bit of science in the school curriculum. Over a generation or so we could maybe overwhelm the god-junkies with more open-minded kids who can better think for themselves instead of being brainwashed into the god stuff like I was when I was a kid.

I had to wait until college to finally get my mind right about the origins of life. That should not happen. I would much rather have had very early exposure to science training.

children I bore while married to a Muslim man, I thoroughly disagree with you. I fear for my children, particularly my son, who looks like his father and has a last name that would identify him as possibly Muslim, even though he does not practice any religion of any stripe.
