recommend as a safe place? Can't be too far or alien or expensive. I'm not about to learn Kazakh or Urdu or what-not at this point in life. Warm azure water to match the mid-day sky would be nice.

26. As a kid, I always liked models, miniatures, and dioramas. Still do.

Made me feel like a giant or a god at play, able to rearrange the world as he wills. Like a kid-god, again. I miss that feeling, although I get some of it here. The web is kinda like a giant, multi-dimensional diorama with dinosaurs, trolls, historical tableaux, and figurines of all shapes, colors, and brain sizes. I like this play place. Occasionally, you meet other kids. That's the best part.
