until the rw talking heads decided to shriek about it and turn it into something it isn't. Even Laura Ingraham said she had no problem with back when it first became public.

It's been a very effective diversionary tactic. The GOP has nothing to run on so trotting out 9/11 and ratcheting up the hateful rhetoric does a good job of obscuring that fact.

They will politicize 9/11 for as long as people continue to fall for it.

6. The solution!!!!

Finally...an answer to all this foolishness. I'm for letting them build the mosque where it is proposed. A friend of mine....a right winger, but a good friend, sent me this email just now...and I have to agree.

7. There have been folks who suggested that building a community

center w/ mosque where Park51 is planned goes along with the idea that some mosques have been built where muslims have won victories over their enemies.

Symbolically speaking, it could be argued in this case. Consider that the original name was to have 'Cordoba House.' A simple search reveals a mosque in Cordoba, Spain of historical significance to the religion in their quest for expansion.
