Sarah Palin/Glen Beck Tomorrow In Anchorage ...WHY...
Edited on Fri Sep-10-10 04:58 PM by rsmith6621

Has no one in the MEDIA yet brought up what Palin/Beck plan on doing with the profits from that 9/11 event....after all the tickets are going from $75.00 to $225.00....

I wished I could post something on Palins Facebook page and ask...

10. Actually, Sarah spoke out against the Quran burning.
One of the very few things I could ever praise her about.

12. Of course. She had to.
But crap like that is really good for her. It stokes the flames and gives her the chance to appear reasonable without any cost.

No praise from me. She benefits from the kind of fear and division this stuff creates. She's partially responsible for it and the blood of those who have already died in protest is on her hands.

15. But you do realize she qualified that, right,
by saying Quran burning is kind of like building at mosque at Ground Zero? She's still an idiot.

20. No, she couldn't.
Here's the whole Facebook quote, written no doubt by Rebecca Mansour since some actual big words are used and complete sentences.

Book burning is antithetical to American ideals. People have a constitutional right to burn a Koran if they want to, but doing so is insensitive and an unnecessary provocation – much like building a mosque at Ground Zero.

I would hope that Pastor Terry Jones and his supporters will consider the ramifications of their planned book-burning event. It will feed the fire of caustic rhetoric and appear as nothing more than mean-spirited religious intolerance. Don’t feed that fire. If your ultimate point is to prove that the Christian teachings of mercy, justice, freedom, and equality provide the foundation on which our country stands, then your tactic to prove this point is totally counter-productive.

Our nation was founded in part by those fleeing religious persecution. Freedom of religion is integral to our charters of liberty. We don’t need to agree with each other on theological matters, but tolerating each other without unnecessarily provoking strife is how we ensure a civil society. In this as in all things, we should remember the Golden Rule. Isn’t that what the Ground Zero mosque debate has been about?

11. They found a real moneymaker here...events
They found they can do one event, spit out some patriotic bs, and if you build it they will come.

Hell, elected offices only pay so much - the real money is being a speaker on the high end.

I think I will need to reconsider my career (or lack thereof)

Making money off of 9/11 is low.

Spinning Oldies and Palin would be working in a Circle K in Alaska.
