Palin, Arnold in Twitter Smackdown »

What’s this? the Terminator Vs. the Refudiator?
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, who infamously coined the word “refudiate” recently in a Twitter post about the near-Ground Zero mosque, took on California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger today in that very same 140-character medium.
The conservative GOP icon was peeved that Schwarzenegger had taken a pot shot at her last night when he flew over her state on the way overseas.
“Over Anchorage, AK. Looking everywhere but can’t see Russia from here. Will keep you updated as search continues,” the Govinator tweeted, mocking Palin’s much-derided claim to foreign policy experience (she could see Russia from Alaska, she argued) in her VP bid.
Palin couldn’t resist an attention-getting refutation this afternoon, and zinged Schwarzenegger over his state’s huge budget deficit.
“Arnold should have landed; I could have explained our multi-billion dollar state surplus & US energy security efforts. What’s he been up to?” tweeted Palin, who, in spite of her home state pride, quit her governorship last year.
