Does it allow you to get healthcare? I sure would like some.

5. 9/15 is my last day of Cobra. Got rejects from Aetna and Humana.
Cannot get coverage until six months pass then I can apply for Georgia's 'untouchables' insurance.

6. Did the actual premium increase that much, or did your company shift

an additional amount of the premium onto you?

12. Yes. Also there's a strongly worded letter from the
administration about this.

14. I'm on a PA state sponsored insurance plan for people 55 and older
who have limited income, are retired, etc - and have no insurance. It started at $239 a month, and went up to $600 per month last March, $629 per month on June 1st. No great bargain, but the only ones who will insure me are Blue Cross - they wanted over $800/month 2 1/2 years ago.
I had bypass surgery in 2003 and NO ONE else will insure me at any price.

15. I'll find out in October
That's when my company's annual renewal comes up. However, I don't expect to be impacted, I went for the high deductable plan and the health savings account. They put $75 a month, tax-free, into my HSA.

I should be in OK shape when the Cadillac tax comes into effect in a few years, too.
