Will Political Gamesmanship Be Our Downfall?
Recently I published a Google Knol titled "Will Political Gamesmanship Be Our Downfall?" Subtitled: Bush and Cheney Have Left the Building! (Oh Really?)

For the record, I'm a registered non-partisan and will vote according to what I perceive as best for my state or country, no matter what political party is sponsoring the legislation or candidate for office.

Yet, in recent elections I have found it difficult to vote for, or with, Republicans. The Party has shifted, increasingly partisan, to the point of becoming obstructionist minions representing and promoting big business, the wealthy, and their own political self-interests...no matter what is best for "Joe Blow" and the United States of America.

Whereas the Democrats have shown (to me) that they are staking their future on being responsive to the needs and interests of us ‘regular’ folks. That perception doesn't make me a 'Democrat' or a 'liberal'. It brands me a realist.

What follows is a short satirical depiction of how I see the impetus behind our political crisis of today.
