Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who we all know, will speak to the Kootenai County Republican Women's Club's Women in Red Luncheon on October 4 at the Coeur d'Alene Resort, Coeur d'Alene. I think we should give him a proper welcome...let me know if you need directions to the resort...

With a mariachi band and a procession of "low-riders", if possible(or, if not, perhaps a parade of chihuahuas lifting their legs on an "Arpaio for Sheriff" poster).

There is a problem with that, though: the place where he's set to speak and the place where I work are parts of the same company, so I really can't set up a Mexican pot-luck buffet right outside: I'd wind up getting canned for inappropriately competing with the Resort's foodservice operation.
