Another Colorado fire!
This one is southwest of Loveland, about 40 miles west of where I live. The two reservoirs being evacuated are my favorite fishing places as they both have accessible areas. It's a very pretty area, abundant wildlife, and I've long envied those who live there. The news is showing aerial shots of homes bursting into flames. Heartbreaking, just heartbreaking!

1. Oh no! I know that the fire fighting resources must be spread pretty thin right now.

2. They'd been advising the last few days
to expect traffic delays on the road between the two reservoirs, due to road work. Wonder if something went wrong with that.

3. I'm so sorry to learn of another fire in my former home state.
I'm pretty sure I recall going to Carter Lake when lived near Denver. Thanks for posting, and keep us updated. And be safe!

Blessings.

4. Not enjoying the view
as they show the helitankers refilling at the lake where I do most of my fishing. There are lovely views in the area, this isn't one of them! They've showed several houses engulfed, but I haven't heard a confirmed count. Fire is now over 600 acres, 0% contained. Shelter has been set up in Loveland, at least they're not reporting injuries or deaths.
