TWC Email Out For TWO DAYS! Is It Related to Inbox Virus? LINK
My email has not been retrievable for last 2 days from Time Warner Cable using Roadrunner. I waited on the customer support line for 30 minutes this morning to report the outage and was informed that it was a problem with their server. I was assured they have been working on it for the last 2 days and that all my emails were being preserved. There was nothing else they could tell me.

A quick Gooogle search turned up this LINK.

Wondering if others are having the same problem?

"A fast-spreading computer worm is being blamed for infecting millions of inboxes worldwide.

The virus appears with the subject line "Here you Have."

If opened, the user is led to a link that sends you to what looks like a PDF file. If that file is opened, it releases a malicious program that will send the same email to everyone on the user's contact list.

Several corporate servers were hit with the worm, including NASA and NY1's parent company Time Warner Cable."

1. Could be
It ate the system up where I work. The IR guys would shut down the exchange servers and go to work on them. A couple of hours later, they would bring them back on-line and the infection would resume in minutes, so they would take them back down again. Apparently, it feeds back into the servers from the distributed drives in the machines connected to the network. It was looking like they would have to disconnect and clean about a 1000 separate devices... I may or may not have e-mail at the office this am.
