Do NOT fall into the republican trap!! |
Republican leaders in the senate claim they have 60 votes to block a democratic plan to continue the Bush tax cuts.. but WITHOUT the tax cuts for those making over 200K as individuals or 250K as a couple.. Fine than the democrats should just do exactly what was done in 2001.. Use reconciliation to pass it for just 10 years.. Sooooooo for the next 10 years 97% of Americans would get the cut while the wealthy would not.. in 10 years all the cuts would go away and we be back where we are now..

1. This is confusing - Democrats want to continue the Bush Tax Cuts |
while Republicans want to let them expire?
That doesn't sound right.

2. Republicans are playing the game an 8 year old plays.. |
If you do not do what I want I will hold my breath until I turn blue and take my ball and go home.. They are saying UNLESS you included the upper 3% in the tax cut we will allow NO tax cut.. .. well the democrats can puncture their balloon .. of course they must show the balls to do it.. and on that I DO have my doubts..

3. Bush tax cuts: Minor cuts for poor and middle class, massive cuts for rich. |
Dems want to keep poor and middle class cuts while removing those for the rich. Pubs want to get free TV time.
