Psycho cat killers will serve no time in jail -- the jail is too full
These two sadistic, psycopathic friends will serve no time in jail because the Clermont County jail is full -- no doubt with people whose only crime was smoking a joint. Mark my words, this will not be the last time that community will hear from Mr. Combs and Mr. Carney!

http://news.cincinnati.com/article/20100913/NEWS010702/9140309/0/NEWS010701/Clermont-jail-too-full-to-house-cat-killer

BATAVIA TWP. - A Goshen Township woman whose cat was shot to death left a Clermont County courtroom in tears Monday after a judge decided the killer shouldn't spend any time in jail.

James P. Combs II, 23, of Warren County's Hamilton Township was sentenced to 300 days in jail on animal cruelty and gun charges in the deaths of several cats, but Judge James A. Shriver of Municipal Court suspended all of the time because the Clermont County Jail is filled to capacity and about 79 criminals are already on a waiting list to begin serving their time.

Combs "confessed to killing three cats on three separate occasions using a .22-caliber rifle," according to a Goshen Township Police Department report. "He also trapped cats and took them home to kill. He had purchased an aluminum T-ball bat to use to kill cats."

After taking the cats to his family's farm, Carney shot them, skinned them for their fur and then fed the remains to his dogs.

1. Good luck finding a job with that on your record
They don't know it yet, but they just got sentenced to a life of unemployment and poverty.

4. I could only wish that were true
But I guess Michael "Vick the Prick" proved that wrong.

14. Yeah, it will be hard to leave behind that record when it's on the internet. Unfortunately
two women will find them irresitible and marry/have kids with them.

15. They'll have to support them
And the kids.

Because these losers will never have a job that pays over minimum wage.

If that.

If those women pick them as mates, I just hope the sex is worth it.

21. There is one question you have to answer, on every job application:
Edited on Mon Sep-13-10 08:30 PM by Xipe Totec
Have you ever been convicted of a crime.

Lying on the application is grounds for dismissal.

You may lie and get a job for a short while.

But sooner or later, the truth comes out and you are screwed.

22. I don't remember that on any of the applications besides the one
But even if it's on there I doubt it "sooner or later" comes out. I was convicted of punching a guy (long story) and it was never an issue for anywhere I worked. Fortunately for the company that did background checks the question was, "in the last ten years..." and by then it was long enough ago that I could honestly answer 'no.'

24. I guess we run in different circles
And I have worked for a lot of companies.

Then again, a few of them required a security clearance.

5. Jeffrey Dahmer started out this way

This psycho is already a serial killer. It's too bad this joke of a judge is to stupid to A. recognize the
pain, devastation and loss that the owners feel and B. that he WILL move on to other animals and
humans.

I will pass this on to my animal groups. This is not the end of this story. I guarantee you that.

9. I remember when a Hell's Angel tortured and killed my cat.
Sweet little Chauncey, who used to walk around smelling flowers, and was the most well-mannered cat I ever had. Last I heard of the Hell's Angel guy, he was a millionaire pimp.

Those of us who love and live with animals sadly know their life spans are shorter than ours but we still grieve so when they're gone. Losing a friend to illness or old age or an accident is bad enough - but to know someone did it cruelly and deliberately? There are just no words for the rage added on to the grief (and yeah, I've lost human friends that way too; you'll still never ever the words "it was only an animal" out of my mouth without the most bitter sarcasm.)

Do you know about Rescue Ink? It's a group of big burly tattooed biker guys whose mission is to STOP animal abuse, and to, ahem, educate people who participate in it. They may be able to help you heal.

11. yeah, I've always had cats.
Oddest thing though, is I feel guilt about Chauncey, like I shouldn't have let him outside, or I should have kept an eye on him while he sniffed flowers. Nice to hear about Rescue Ink though; this incident with Chauncey, plus the one where motorcycle gansters burned a lawnmover they found on my front lawn (just tromped right on my lawn, threw gasoline on it and set it on fire) has left me with a pretty strong prejudice against anyone who belongs to a motorcycle gang, whether they've committed crimes or not. Though I do distinguish between normal human motorcyclists and motorcycle gangsters.

16. It was NOT your fault.
I understand about the guilt - but it was not your fault. It was the fault of one sociopath, who is not you, and the other sociopaths who might have encouraged or enabled it.

The reason I have no tolerance for conscious animal abusers who do it for kicks is that sadism is just never an acceptable or forgivable motive. I can understand stealing if you're hungry. I can understand dealing drugs if you're broke. I can understand humane hunting to feed your family.

I canNOT understand or sympathize with enjoying causing suffering for its own sake on a helpless non-consenting victim. I canNOT understand enjoying torture and killing. Whether the victims are animals or people doesn't make much difference to me--the problem is the existence of the desire to do it at all.

The problem is people who get a sense of power from this, and the all-too-often reinforced sense that they will get away with it.

20. Now this is a very serious problem
Why can't the justice system put 2+2 together regarding the animal torturer/serial killer link?

Do they WANT to aid in the development and fostering of serial killers?

I mean, that's the kind of thing you want to do everything possible to nip in the bud.

GET A FUCKING CLUE, JUDGE SHRIVER.

:WTF:

23. Pardon a nonviolent offender, and make room then.
This guy's killing animals, and he thinks he's "cleansing" the community. He's already got the warm-up phase AND the mindset of a serial killer. Teach him that there are consequences for his actions while there is still time.

25. Sociopath
monsters like these cat killing assholes will never learn anything about consequences for thier actions with or without jail time..These consience less wastes will never grow a consience or develop genuine empathy.I wish sociopaths and psychopaths and pedophiles/rapists/torturers were just executed after trial. They won't change, there is no cure for sociopathy/psychopathy.Because it is NOT a true mental illness, it's who they ARE that is the problem..Why should we babysit these destructive abusive cruel assholes for life while non-psychopaths are go without food shelter or medical care in this fucked up culture? Why give psychopaths/sociopaths jail time ,when they still kill other prisoners, rape and kill the guards for? At what point do you admit some people are not safe as long as they still live?

This SOB's not going to see meaningful justice until he kills or maims a person. Scary when I think about it...
