Authorities have arrested a second 16-year-old boy connected to the Friday night stabbing of a pizza delivery man in a vacant apartment just north of Omaha.
It is the fourth arrest connected to the death of 33-year-old Christopher P. Taylor. The unnamed 16-year-old was booked on suspicion of robbery and conspiracy Monday afternoon. Douglas County authorities said he served as a getaway driver for three young Omaha boys who robbed the Pizza Hut delivery driver and then stabbed him to death. He will likely be identified and formally charged as an adult on Tuesday.
Monday's arrest came after the identification of 16-year-old Bryton Gibbs, the suspect accused of wielding the knife used to stab Taylor. The stabbing occurred about 11 p.m. Friday at 6608 N. 89th Court — near Sorensen Parkway and Ida Street.
Taylor had less than $50 on him, police have said. Authorities will charge Gibbs as an adult.
