One of my favorite stab-in-the-back moments of Joe Lieberman...
Was when they were counting the votes down in Florida and the Democrats would gain a few votes with each re-count and the Repubs said they had found more votes from the military, obviously late and after the election, and they should be counted also. We still don't know all the facts about those several hundred "military" votes but Joe couldn't wait to get in front of the camera to say he agreed that the military votes, even if late, should be counted. That was the turning point in Florida, in my opinion.

1. Jim Baker was calling democrats "Un-American" for not counting those votes.
Joe folded. We should have smelled a rat (literally) back then but we didn't.

2. We should have known with his Clinton bashing in '98
.....as well as his love fest with Cheney in the debate.

3. Oh, there are so many
Sort of like having a chainsaw shoved up your ass and asked which link hurt the most. I think what I like best about Lieberman and his endless fudging is being told "Oh, well, he's with us on everything except . . ." and you can fill in the blank with "war" or "the economy" or whatever the Democrats are trying to accomplish. Yep, Joe is with us on all kinds of things right up until it's time to have a debate and a vote. Then he's solidly with the Republicans, but it's okay, because he's the Last Honest Man in Washington.
