So how do we take on the RW think tanks?

It seems all those foundations that are buying politicians, media and propagandizing voters are funded by a few billionaires notably the Koch brothers and Mellon-Sciafe. What if we get a law passed that states that those foundations can only exist on membership dues from their members and put a cap on the dues that can't go higher oh let's say $1,000 a year. That should get rid of the majority of the toxic ones on the right.

They have more of a hold on the media than most people know.

Your idea is excellent--but how the hell do we fight the think tanks who already control the message, expecially when they are fighting for their very existence?
