Poll question: Are the Tea Parties a threat to Democrats?

Through the endless endorsements from the "Liberal media" they certainly energize voters to show up to the polls and support their candidates. On one hand they're putting some real loonies into the winners box, which on the surface looks good for the Dems. But on the other hand they are assimilating with the Republican party. To me it seems they're only a threat to Republicans who haven't jumped on the tea party bandwagon.

I'm wondering if there's a real threat that they will actually bolster Republican votes at the polls and push them way to the right -- right into Loonyville.

Your thoughts?

6. All politics is local. So, my answer is that it depends. Are the teabaggers a threat in Alabama

and Missouri? Yes. Are the teabaggers in Delaware and Maryland a threat? HELL, FUCK NO!!

7. My greatest fear is that Dems won't show up

or Independents will actually be snowed by the whole "throw out the incumbents" meme and vote for these crazies, and they'll actually win. They'll make Newt and the Contract on America seem tame.
