This does not bode well for the fall... My Democratic congressman is up for re-election, here in NY-20. He's a moderate, nice guy, intelligent, has worked hard for the district. But in last year's special election (he replaced Kirsten Gillibrand when she was appointed senator) he won by the closest margin in the country. And I'm so afraid that in this Republican district he'll be voted out just because he has a "D" by his name. He's being challenged by an anti-veteran, anti-health care, pro-Wall $treet RWer who John Boehner came to the district to support... x(

And that's the first I'd heard of Paladino. I told the caller I wouldn't be voting for him, LOL, but then I looked him up. On the issues, there is not one thing that I agree with him on, not even one. He's against everything that I am for and supports everything that makes me cringe. And he's a bigot, as well! The caller even mentioned the accusations about that! Carl hates everything! x(
