A semi-reasonable guy.

Wow.

We will keep the Seat, but I am just shocked.

1. I actually felt sorry for him (& DE) during his concession speech.
And I NEVER feel sorry for republicans.

I just saw what looked like a nice guy public servant (putting aside the republican factor), with a looooong career, get taken down by a certifiable WHACK JOB.

I also felt awful for his wife, who looked absolutely crushed for him.

What a way to go out.

Good luck Delaware - who knew????

2. I know he is a Republican, but I feel really bad for him
He is usually pretty reasonable.

I feel the same way about Kendrick Meek.

I didn't think the Democrats would get that lucky. This is going to be a fun race to watch.

sidelines and punish those nasty Dems because handing the government over to the teabaggers is not a solution to this nation's problems. Oh, yeah, there is no difference between the parties. None whatsoever. Right? Do you really think that helping drag this nation the pit will save it? Really? I have no respect for those who think this way, who are willing to hurt others to make a point.

7. Thought I read that he and VP Biden are friends. I can see why, both
reasonable and admired.
