into several smaller,competing parties...the recent victories of the "teaparty" candidates in GOP Primaries seems to bear that out.
I think the next few months will be very interersting for us, and IF we can get together and vote and take advantage of republicans attacking themselves, we can actually win rather than just stave off the republican tidal wave...

I think the GOP campaigns will be more viscious and crazier than anything we have yet seen, witness the GOP candidate for NY governor, Carl Paladino, and his racist and pornographic email "jokes"...

We should be able to get some Democratic victories against these crazies...even the GOP will not support some of them...

Our partisan divide is causing many to demonize their political opponents. It makes me long for the good old days when we could disagree politically and still respect each other and get along.
