I am so glad Rangle won the primary
I know a lot of people would not like it, but, Rangle won. I know he has those ethics charges. Mostly because he accepted low rent for an apartment from friends. But he has not done anything worst and I mean worst than a lot of republicans who are dirtying up the seats in congress that they sit on. How damn long has Ensign been sitting in the senate and what he did is very very illegal. Forget about the mistress, he sanctioned a bribe and illegally got the husband of his mistress a job in lobbying. And look at Isaa in California. He has done so many illegal things, and is in an on going investigation and he is still in congress. AND he is running every kind of organization to try to undermine Democrats there is. Look at Rove, look at Cheney, look at Bush. And most of all look at Clarence Thomas whose wife is blatantly thumbing her nose at the American public. If this was anyone else they would be removed from the bench.

The problem with Democrats again IS they lack the spine to go after republicans. Do any of these wishy washy bunch of wimps think that IF the republicans every get in, they aren't going to go after and manufacture lies and anything they can to try to throw as many Democrats as they can out of office. We know they will.

Because their smear jobs seem very effective. Hell! We've lost good people like Howard Dean and John Kerry and Al Gore to smear jobs. I hope Rangel's win shows a new trend emerging. The voter who doesn't fall for election year 'scandals' and wedge issues.

4. Wasn't The Least Surprised
What the pundits don't understand about Rangle is that where his constituents are concerned, he shows up for the occasion. If he makes an appearance, he is there. Doesn't rush like he has better things to do and takes his time to talk to people. They like him and having seen him in action in Harlem I can understand why.
