The Orange spin on yesterday's election results

House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) expressed optimism that the angry voters to defeat Rep. Mike Castle (R) in a Delaware primary Tuesday night would speak even more loudly against Democrats in November.

The top House Republican, who would likely become speaker under a Republican majority in the House, said that GOP members and candidates would have to work closely with voters, including the Tea Party movement, to secure victory this fall.

"The voters of Delaware have spoken, and you're going to continue to hear the American people speak -- not just last night, but you're going to hear them speak come November," Boehner said at press conference on Capitol Hill.

Conservative insurgent candidate Christine O'Donnell upset Castle, a more centrist Republican, in a Senate primary last night that effectively ended Castle's long career in Congress. ...........(more)

1. Why the heck does he care about O'Donnell. He's got his own whackadoo running for the house in DE

Urquhart isn't off the deep end like O'Donnell but he's still not exactly the type of candidate that will lure moderate voters in Delaware to vote for him. Moderate Michelle Rollins had a better chance of keeping the sole US House Seat in the Red but those nutty teabaggers voted for Urquhart instead. So not only are we keeping Joe Biden's old senate seat in the blue but we're switching Mike Castle's republican house position to a big "D" with John Carney as our new represenative.

2. Is Boner going teabagger?
He'd be one of the first they'd knock out of power.

Pass the popcorn, this is going to be good.

3. Like most republicans he things most of the voters
not the small per cent that are in a constant stupor fox puts them in, will vote mostly republican. Tea bags winning primaries show just how damn dumb the republicans have become. And the keep hollering about MA. The Democrats were dumb there, they thought that there was no way Brown would win, they thought the people of MA had more sense. So most of them didn't even show up to vote. See what happens when we don't vote. Because you know republicans know what happens and they always go to the polls.
