Poll question: Should someone, on camera, ask Christine O'Donnell if she's a virgin?
This Palin-lite is anti-premarital sex, anti-masturbation, and has never been married.

I assume she's a pure as driven snow and should have nothing to be ashamed about in declaring her purity.

1. No. We have enough to defeat her without bringing up her personal choices
Would we ask that of a male candidate?

12. It's about her hypocrisy....
Male candidates are often asked about their sex lives.

27. What's her hypocrisy?
Is there a sex tape out there? If she's a closet lesbian who doesn't support gay rights....then there's an issue of hypocrisy.

4. Should someone, on-camera, ask Christine O'Donnell if she's gay?
What one chooses to do behind one's own doors should stay there, regardless of how much I loathe the candidate.

37. But she does not adhere to that standard, presumably
Being willing to tell other people what rules they should follow, so shouldn't she follow the rules she believes apply to others?

6. no need to single her out
there's lots of family values folks out there, and Catholics. I don't know what's so special about O'Donnell, except that she sounds kind of dumb (which isn't unique), and for whatever reason the GOP establishment doesn't like her.

7. She is one of these "born again virgins"
I remember her saying this as a guest on Bill Maher's Politically Incorrect, where she was a regular guest.

So I guess after she had her fun and decided that she was bored with sex, she decided to become a so-called reformed virgin.

Doesn't need to be asked. Her statement shows she's out of touch (LOL unintentional I swear!) or a liar. There's no need to ask anything, just let her talk.

29. I have no doubt she is a virgin. She is to damn ridget. Besides that
I don't see anything wrong with her being a virgin. I believe that is really good in this day and age. I was a virgin til I got married at 29. I think girls should hold off. But I don't she has a right to push her opinion on others. We aren't electing a nun.

30. Of course! It's not a political question.
"Should someone, on camera, ask Christine O'Donnell if she's a virgin?"

On assumes that means a journalist of some sort.

Should a journalist ask a candidate for the United States Senate whether she follows the moral dictates she proposes for others?

Yes... that is kind of the definition of the sort of thing journalists really ought to do.

Would it be politically beneficial to Dems if she were asked that? Probably not.

Should Tim Kaine stalk her hoping to get to jump out of the bushes and ask her on camera? No.

But that doesn't mean it shouldn't be asked by a journalist.

There is something to be said for the idea that public inquiry ought to exceed the combined wishes of the two parties as to what would or would not be convenient to be asked.

32. Childish nonsense. Attack her positions. Attack her stupidity.
Attack her financial history. Attack her failings.

Leave her sexuality out of it. It's not relevant, and makes us look childish and puerile.

We need to grow up with this shit. This is what Freepers do.

Not lying to Nazis to protect Jews, her rambling talk radio appearances, her thoughts that we in the US should stop everything twice a day and have a mandatory prayer to God...etc

That's enough - unless the USA really is that stupid
