Karl Rove Probable stratagy.

Since so many independents, dislike Rove, and people that like him, will still vote Republican anyways.

His comments are to give a reason for independents or moderate Republicans to vote for O'Donnell.

If Rove really was against her, he would use his back channels like he does with other controversies.

He is trying to use the natural repulsion to him in many people to help her.

He also had eggs for breakfast, and is a little hungry right now. (comedy :) j/k )

1. well that is certainly convoluted...
Besides, it appears that he already tried and failed at the back door channels to stop her. I think his disdain for her and public washing of hands towards her is real.

I don't respect him though.

If he was serious, then some of the Fox people would be on his side, if they side with O'Donnel then it is a strategy.

4. Rove can't possibly want Chris Coons to win. O'Donnell is no nuttier than Angle.
And you didn't hear Rove criticizing her when she won her primary. She's also competitive in the polls with Reid, unlike O'Donnell vs. Coons right now. There's no way Rove doesn't have something up his sleeve.
