Video: Jesus Toaster – Blessed is Your Morning Bread
The Jesus toaster is finally here! Christians everywhere can rejoice as they use their Jesus toaster to burn an impression of the Lord’s only son into their morning bread.

Newsoxy states that the Jesus toaster was invented by Burnt Impressions, LLC. The company will soon create Virgin Mary and the Star of David toasters. Jesus is just the first face to be placed inside a toaster.

Hackaday reports that the way to the Jesus toaster is able to toast Jesus’ face onto your morning bread is by having “a laser machined stainless steel Jesus block a pattern of radiation from browning the toast.” The end result is a Jesus’ head pattern, complete with long hair and beard.

4. What I want to know is...
where is it made and does it work?

You know, all toaster guts are made in China. They may be assembled in the USA or Germany or whereever, but all the parts are coming out of China.

And they suck.

I'm hanging on to an old Rowenta (so old that it says "made in WEST Germany"). But it's starting to throw sparks, and I'm looking for a good replacement at a non-gourmet price.

If Jesus has allowed the company to use his likeness, he must be endorsing the product, right? How could it be bad?

7. Here ya go! LOL.
They're open 24 hours! Order yours today!

p.s. Apparently, these are just toaster "inserts," that are used with your existing toaster. Didn't this guy's mother tell him to never stick anything into the toaster?

16. If the bread is blessed by the priest, it becomes the body of Christ.
Same with the wine, for use in Communion. But in this case, the bread comes from a major grocery chain...

19. So, you couldn't then put butter, cinnamon, or jelly on it?
Would that be sacrilegious? I'm sorry, but I just don't get the point of putting Jesus on your toast. Glad I prefer bagels, even more now.

21. That was my first question... Wouldn't eating it be sacrilegious?
If you're the type to invest in this contraption, I wouldn't think you could manage to eat it... But this guy puts peanut butter on it! :wow:

And you notice he mentions e-Bay... That's how this whole thing got started, auctioning off a peace of toast with the purported face of Jesus on it. x(
