**Some LOGO variations to lighten things up a bit - FEEL FREE to use these.**

Haters gotta hate, and cheerleaders gotta cheer. We all act according to our nature.
Here are some graphics to use as you will.

It's been a long while since I posted here, as MY nature abhors the petty bickering level of "discourse", so I hope I do this right.
I consider these only mildly snarky for each side, with a bit of truth that we can laugh about our own foibles, yeah?

After all, I have a foot in both camps, and friends in each. Personally too progressive for mainstream, but old enough to know even small victories can begin a course correction, and there are legitimate differences of opinion on which tactics will achieve the changes we need.

The first two are avatar sized logos with implied messages embedded:

Next, the messages are a bit more explicit. Yeah, I don't have that font, so improvised:

So, let's lighten up occasionally and work together to beat the crazies.
Then we can resume the internecine battles. After all, it's what we do.
Meanwhile:

1. Thx for the LOL's
I agree the discourse about the new logo was interesting to say the least.

Yep, we NEED to work together to beat the crazies. Another reason I volunteered to be my Precinct Chair in 08 and renewed again this campaign season.

 :applause: Way to go Bongo Prophet :applause:

4. Yeah, memestacking is fun.
I actually feel a lot of sympathy for the graphic artist and web crew.
As a fellow pro (may be making a big assumption with that) I've seen clients steer toward a bad idea, and be quite persistent in doing so. That leaves the artist in a tough spot that isn't always possible to escape.

The site itself is a big improvement, but it was rushed to launch. I can tell because the menu system is messed up in firefox on my OsX machine. Not enough browser testing time. Augh, sooo been there.

I did write them to let them know. Wasn't too harsh.

anyway, glad to bring a smile with my abject laziness.

^__^

7. No - it's a short-eared rabbitt.
Like a marsh rabbit or a Netherlands dwarf.

9. He looks like a rather abused bunny.
In a fun sort of way. We have a rabbit named Clouseau (because he fell over while eating kale when he was a tiny kit). He/she is a hermaphrodite - one penis, two vaginas. No shit. Sweet little thing. He was born on July 4th and curiously so was our Sheltie (but a year later).

10. Could be; I remember my little boy being a sweet little soul
who loved doing little tricks like balancing for fresh veggies.

I even used to take the little guy on walks, much to the amusement of my neighbors. Damn, now I am so missing Sombra (shade in Spanish). I may have to just get another bunny if my pup and cat will tolerate it. They are so sweet and so fun.

11. What cracks me up is that the potty is a social thing for Clouseau.
No kidding. Since he was a kit, he would get on the potty whenever we did. He lives in a fairly good sized cage in the master bathroom. On the plus side, his cage stays pretty clean.
