Palin flexes her political muscles and takes on O Riley and Rove..

Gryphen over at IM has a great post up and video link..

Rove V Palin/O'Donnell? Who will win against the master of dirty political tricks? It's going to be an interesting few months..
-----------------------------------------------------------

It is amazing that Sarah is now so full of herself that she does not hesitate to take on Karl Rove, the man well known to be the brains behind both of George Bush's successful Presidential elections, and relegate him to the status of "Good ole boy."

As O'Reilly makes his point about Rove's impressive political credentials, and concern that O'Donnell's inexperience makes her unlikely to be elected in the general, Sarah Palin essentially says "La, La, La, I CAN"T HEAR YOU!" and keeps right on spewing out her poorly concocted talking points.

Methinks Caribou Barbie better watch her ass. Karl Rove has destroyed far more powerful and competent politicians than her for much, mucc less.

<snip>

And a few minutes later Palin essentially tells O'Donnell to ignore her advisers and do whatever the hell she wants to do, which of course explains a lot about the choices that Sarah Palin has made in her own roller coaster ride of a career.

Toward the middle of the video O'Reilly misidentifies the gender of Kelly Ayotte, and struggles to remember the name of the Palin endorsed New Hampshire candidate, Sarah just sits there staring ahead because apparently she can't remember who the hell she endorsed either! (You would think that she could have at least remembered enough to correct him on the gender. After all isn't Ayotte is one of Palin's "Mama Grizzlies?")

At the end of the interview O'Reilly starts casting aspersions on Glenn Beck's masculinity, or possibly his sexuality, and Palin is laughing right along with him while claiming to have recently murdered a caribou to illustrate how much more macho she is than Beck. She even remarks that he is made of "Twinkies.".

6. The GOP gravitates toward dumbfucks. Have they given us anything else since Eisenhower?
Not that I can think of.

They just keep getting dumber and dumber. As his '52 rival Adlai Stevenson once said, "when I was a boy my mother told me that anyone could grow up to be president. I'm beginning to believe it." I'm just glad he didn't live long enough to see the shrub in office.

just shows you can fuck up someones plan if you try hard enough!

9. That's the beauty of the tea party...
They are all very passionate about their idiocy and their extremist views. The problem is, they are completely
oblivious to how idiotic and extremist they are--and that the majority of the country views them this way.

So they stew around in their own juices--listening to rabid, nutwing radio and watching Glenn Beck and blogging
only in their little extremist corner of the universe. This helps to promote the notion that their 20 percent
"movement" is a revolution that will take over the entire universe.

There has always been a crazy contingent in the Republican party. They've got their radio clown Beck, leading
this spectacle and they vote in high numbers. So yes, they can win primaries, but they will always fail in
the general election if the Dem candidate is at least mediocre. The general public thinks that they are loonies.
They don't get this, because they are high on Beck sermons, Fox News and News Max.

This works to our advantage, big time. This is the best thing to happen to the Dems heading into the midterm elections.

14. No feud that I'm aware of.
They were looking pretty chummy on 9/11 here in Anchorage.

Please see The Mudflats here for a hilarious deconstruction of Sarah's actual words as she was introducing the Beckster: http://www.themudflats.net/2010/09/14/sarah-palin-on-911-a-report-from-the-goofy-brutal-leftist-lamestream-media/

8. this guy?

“You know I love Karl Rove… Sometimes when I can’t find him on TV, I’ll just put on a pair of wire-rim glasses on a loaf of ham, and I’ll pretend we’re friends. Hey Karl, you feelin’ all right? Your eyes look a little glazed.”
