Chris Matthews acts like he's a Biblical prophet...
Edited on Thu Sep-16-10 01:20 PM by Green_Lantern
I want to beat my head with a baseball bat when he does analysis.

He keeps repeating "the voters are angry at government". Actually it's only a very loud minority.

Chris allies himself with anyone getting attention. He's like the annoying sidekick in action movies.

2. St. Tweety the Evangelist.
I'd say that he's a kick in the side but not much of a sidekick. ;-)

3. It's always amazing when he shuts his mouth long enough for one of
his guests to answer his question in more than a quick sound bite.

4. So he's as wrong as a Biblical prophet, then.
That's so sad.

5. Well, a Biblical prophet must be 100% right in their prophecies or they get stoned,
and not in a good way.

18. It's in the Bible, although you'd have to read it and few here would care to do that.
A good many who call themselves Christians have not read it either.

19. It's been a long time since I read the OT, but could you point out where prophets were stoned
for being wrong?

what an idiot. Fun game he's playing--Chris was a major reason we got Bush instead of Gore. I'll always hate his lying clique-driven character for that. He loved the Clinton impeachment too, that was a droolfest for his perversity.

10. I don't know of anyone who talks more about what the "American people" think
and has less of a clue about what the American people think.

I think this dipshit listens to rush limbaugh bragging about how many bazillions of listeners he has and actually believes it.

Matthews would not know a "real American" if one of them bit him in the ass. And I wish one would. Or at least a real American dog.

15. Rec. Matthews LOVES the games of politics and the drama of politicians, but
he seems to have no idea that their foolish antics actually affect real people's lives. He loves the performance art of politics, and does not seem to grasp that is should have a purpose other than entertainment and making the players rich and famous.

I think he is at least as sick as some of hid guests, shcu as Buchannah, and I can not stand to watch his program at all any more.

If he represents the "liberal media" we are all in deep shit.

mark

Exactly. Actually you put words to a feeling I've long had about conservative leaning people I know who have utilized the benefits Dems have fought for yet take conservative stances. They think politics is a game separate from real life.

My grandfather is somewhat like this. Deep down he is an old blue collar Democrat but also rejected New Left social issues but he more frequently takes political stances which in the end doesn't serve his interests.

I think he takes the viewpoints of people who

a.)look the most like him
b.)speak the loudest and angriest

Right now that's the tea party.
