One Nation gathering

Sandwiched between two back to back jobs, one in Louisville, KY and then to Baltimore, I will be able to be at the mall for Ed Schultz' One Nation event. I'm going with a friend and and co-worker and fellow progressive to hopefully contribute to the gathering. My wife and I hope to go to the Jon Stewart and Steven Colbert event at the end of the month as well. I'm looking forward to being there. It's been a long time since I went to a political rally. Last one was the 1972 Republicon convention in Miami Beach. Of course I was camping in Flamingo Park, marching with the Yippies, Zippies and Hippies and not at the Fountaine Bleau. This time around I need a hotel though rather than a sleeping bag. It was a great time. I hope this one will be as memorable. Hope to see you there!

3. On the mall

Where on the mall would be a place to meet? It's been a while since I've been there. My friend and I will be driving down from Baltimore that morning. We'll park our car someplace and take the metro to the mall. I don't even know exactly what time we'll get there. Will the main event and speakers be at the Lincoln Memorial or somewhere else? I guess the Washingtom Monument might be a good place. We're coming up from Florida. I am so stoked about being able to be there. I hope there's a huge turnout. We're getting into Baltimore Friday evening and will be staying near BWI. Oh....I used to live in Olathe, KS a long time ago. Dad was in the service.
